We are a French and New Zealand couple and we believe we can be the perfect team to look after you and your villa.
I Sophie, am extremely passionate about the hospitality industry and providing high levels of service and professionalism. I am a highly motivated individual with a friendly personality who thoroughly enjoys what I do. During my 4 years working on yachts and 3 years working on private jets I have learnt excellent planning and organizational skills.
I am confident in all aspects of the interior and love creating an individual tailored dining experience for the client. I am not culinary trained but I truly enjoy cooking and I am confident on preparing basic and healthy meals.
James has for the last three and a half years worked in the super yacht industry as a deck engineer while previously he has worked in both the wine and automotive industries. During his time in the wine industry he worked extensively in vineyards completing such tasks as pruning, thinning, tractor work, irrigation and the maintainance of fences and trellises. For the last year and a half he has worked on a 42 meter motor yacht with live aboard owners and his tasks have included driving and looking after the owners vehicles. This combined with his time in the automotive industry as a sales executive and his lifelong love of cars means he is an extremely confident driver and can maintain a vehicle to a very high level. In his time as a superyacht deck engineer he has worked extensively both in the engine room and on deck, a very physical role which has allowed him to amass a broad knowledge of both machinery and the care and maintainance of exterior surfaces. He has a love of the outdoors born from growing up in rural New Zealand and greatly enjoys physical work.
We are both very easygoing and personable but take professionalism and our jobs very seriously. We both enjoy our current careers but have made the choice to seek a job where we can use our skillsets without having to be apart as often as our current jobs dictate. We lived together in Palma de Mallorca for 18 months and have been in New Zealand for the last 6 months. We are willing to relocate for the right opportunity.
