I enjoy working in a busy environment and am competent juggling a variety of responsibilities. I am a fast learner and work well under pressure. I thrive on new challenges to push and inspire me and am willing to learn anything that will broaden my experience. I communicate well and always have a smile on my face.
HOW I GOT HERE
APRIL 2017 - CURRENT – Freelance Chef

I have been working freelance as a Chef since April 2017, cooking for dinner parties, in the UK and France, and for a family with a newborn baby.
JANUARY 2018 - JUNE 2018 – Diploma student at Leiths School of Food and Wine

NOVEMBER 2015 – APRIL 2017 – Chef and Chalet Host
AliKats Mountain Holidays www. alikats. eu AliKats is a high end chalet company in Morzine, France. I cooked for around 60 guests, each night, from a centralised kitchen. Alikats is known for their very high standard of food and have won awards for it three years running.

Prestige Mountain Chalets www. prestigemountainchalets. com
I spent summer 2016 cooking in a high-end chalet in La Cote d’Arbroz, France. I served a three-course dinner and canapés, every evening, for upto 18 guests.

Ski Cosy www. skicosy. co. uk Winter 2015/16, I worked as a Chalet Chef and Host running a ten-bed chalet in St Jean d’Aulps. My job involved cooking breakfast, afternoon tea and a three course dinner everyday; daily cleaning and changing over the chalet week to week; socialising with guests and making their stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.

NOVEMBER 2014 – NOVEMBER 2015 – Freelance Food Stylist
Food Styling - I assisted on shoots for: Boots in Store Advertising, Tesco Packaging, Guardian Cook Magazine, Sainsbury’s Magazine, Waitrose Magazine, Waitrose Christmas, Deliverance Menu, East London Food Book, ‘A Lot On Her Plate’ YouTube videos, Rachael Khoo’s Guardian features, Niomi Smart’s Eat Smart book and the Hemsley + Hemsley books. I also worked as the food stylist for Deliverance and for all the images for the new Injoy website, their menus and advertising.

FoodCycle - Cooking team volunteer.
Red Eyewear Ltd. - I worked as a designer at Red Eyewear Ltd. two days a week for a year and still do some freelance work for them. I designed sunglasses, stands, packaging and new patterns and prints.

In November 2014, I returned to the UK after a year of travelling around Borneo, Japan, Thailand, Burma and Australia.

JULY 2014 - OCTOBER 2014 – Nanny
While in Australia, I worked as a sole charge nanny for three months. I was caring for 2 year old twins and a 4 year old.
JULY 2014 - OCTOBER 2014 - Contact Worker

Kids Out West www. kidsoutwest. org Kids Out West is a service provider that aims to improve the outcome for vulnerable children and young people. I worked part time, evenings and weekends, for Kids Out West while I was in Australia. My role involved collecting children from carers, driving them to and from contact visits with their families and supervising the visits. 
As well as contact visits, I would supervise children, during the day and overnight, who were between foster carers.
