I am a very driven person, full of ideas and problem solving abilities. With nearly 20 years’ experience in the building services and facilities industries, I have gained a solid knowledge and understanding of managing, coordinating and running properties and businesses, most recently in the private sector helping to manage a family-owned 15th century boutique hotel used for weddings and special events. Set across 26 acres of grounds, I am responsible for every aspect of the estate and grounds, ensuring the smooth running of events, health and safety across the site, staff and contract management and personal assistance to the owners.
Together with my wife, I have also owned a business in France, supplying high-end decoration products by brands such as Farrow & Ball, Colefax & Fowler and Liberty et al, which has provided me with experience in customer service as well as marketing and business development.
Before living in France, I was the Facilities Manager for multiple properties owned by a dynamic fast growing fashion business in London, England, coordinating every aspect of properties being built, transformed, maintained and run.
I can turn my hand to all management aspects of running an estate, whether a commercial business or an employer’s personal household. With good negotiation and liaison skills, I can motivate and manage contractors and staff with the aim of finding solutions and delivering
commitments on budget and to deadlines whilst complying with planning and building regulations as well as health and safety policies, ensuring a positive and productive working environment.
