Good afternoon. My name is Anatoly. First of all, I want to thank you for responding to my CV and scheduling an interview. Near to me my friend Vlad. He kindly agreed to help me if I have problems with translation because my English is not very good.
I would like to tell you about my experience in cooking. I graduated from the Russian culinary college, where I studied for three years. Of these, I studied to be a cook for 2 years, and studied the basics of pastry and bakery for one year.
My experience as a cook is more than 10 years. I have worked in fast food, hotels, as well as in restaurants.
I have worked in restaurants with European cuisine, Italian, Ukrainian, as well as a little familiar with Pan-Asian cuisine. I really like working with pasta, and molecular cuisine is also interesting. I am also wos work with dough, pastries and pizza.
For the last 6 years I have been working in the banquet kitchen of the Four Seasons Moscow Hotel. There I was responsible for the preparation of hot dishes and appetizers, hot canapes, sauces. And also from time to time helped in the cold shop to prepare salads and cold appetizers, cold canapes. I helped in the meat and fish shop to prepare semi-finished products. Sometimes i helped in pastry and in cantina.
My job in the banquet kitchen was to make my own decisions for cooking. I independently compiled a list of products necessary for work, made an order for vegetables and semi-finished products, planned technological processes for the day and prepared dishes from beginning to end.
We served breakfasts for business groups, both in portions and on the buffet, business lunches for up to 600 peoples, festive banquets for up to 350 peoples with several serves of dishes.
The banquet kitchen of our hotel coped well with very intensive work during the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia. And we also did a good job during the visit of the delegation of the King of Saudi Arabia in 2017.
In the banquet kitchen, I liked that the chef completely trusted me with the process of cooking all dishes, even new ones. I had the opportunity to show my imagination when cooking and decorating dishes, I made changes to the composition of dishes myself.
But because of Vladimir Putin's barbaric policy, I had to leave Russia, and now I am an expat.
I have already said that my English is not very good, but I think that if people have the necessary knowledge and experience, they will be able to understand each other.
I would really like to find a new job, gain new experience, new skills and knowledge, and improve my English level.
